Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) Announces 2015 TPA University

Date Posted: Tuesday, June 09, 2015

The Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA), a leader in advocacy, education and networking for the self-funding industry, announces its 2015 TPA University conference to be held July 15-17 at the Swissotel in Chicago. The hands-on, tactical event will feature collaborative sessions where industry leaders will work directly with those in the field - sharing insights and providing actionable solutions to the trending industry challenges.

"Year after year, our TPA University is designed to offer attendees the most collaborative and actionable event in our industry for educating TPAs and operational personnel on current and forthcoming challenges in our space," said HCAA Chief Executive Officer Carol Berry, CSFS. "This year's event is no exception, although we've broadened our reach to now include a special event for brokers and consultants as they look to work effectively in the self-funded marketplace."

The two-and-a-half-day conference will include an opening keynote session from Michael Hoffman, who will be discussing "Being #1 On Purpose - How to be a Catalyst for the Winds of Opportunity," as well as another keynote session on day two from Nancy Friedman of Telephone Doctor Customer Service on "How to Excel in the Winds of Change."

HCAA members as well as non-member TPA organizations are invited to attend this conference. Discounted early-bird pricing is available for those registering before June 22, 2015. To register and for more information, visit the conference page of the HCAA website.

New to this year's conference, HCAA is inviting brokers and consultants to the exclusive Inaugural Broker Self-Funding Summit, which will take place concurrently at the same location on July 15-16. This summit will feature sessions covering self-funded program fundamentals, TPA vetting, vendor selection, and self-funded program implementation issues. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with many third party administrators and other industry experts in a special Executive Summit session, to dialogue about what is happening in self-funding and how to collaborate effectively. Discounted early-bird pricing is available for those registering before July 1, 2015. For more information, or to register for this event, visit the Broker Summit Page online.
