Hi,
First Post!!...My name is Brendan and I have a chance to bill for two psychiatrists. I am a biller for a local hospital but am starting to bill from home, part-time, for now.  They  are a professional corporation for their local facility , and billed by another billing company. I need for medicare/medi-cal and commercial insurance to remit to one Dr's home and the others p.o. box, rather than the other biller.

The CMS1500 has boxes for both tax i.d and NPI and I'm not sure how this works. Do they need new tax i.d's and NPI's with the new addresses? Maybe a W-9 needs to go with initial billing? I could really use some guidance on this and thanks to you in advance.
