Medical Billing Software comparison

I've been doing some research on medical billing software (no demos yet), but the following seem to bubble to the top:  Medisoft, PMX3, Altapoint, DAQ Billing.  Kareo doesn't seem to have a good reputation.  Does anyone have 1) any others to add to this list and 2) have an opinion as to which is best.  I'd love an opinion on both an ASP favorite and a server-based favorite.  Thanks so much for your help.

Well, I'm rather fond of our program, The THERAPIST.  It's a practice management and billing program originally designed for people working in mental health. As we've expanded, chiropractors, general practitioners and physical therapists are using our program.  We have many billing specialists using it as well.  Our top biller has over 50 clients she does billing for.

I think medisoft is the best as it is the most popular, so its easy to get help; its easy to find staff that know it; its been around a long time.  You can get service and support at

and yes, i work there so this is "biased", however after 20 years, and seeing other companies come and go, its nice to stick with a stable company, backed by the 17th largest company in the USA, McKesson.
