what are the rules to be followed while submitting physical therapy claims.

Are you a physical therapist and want to do your own billing or are you a billing service? - as for 'rules' what exactly do you mean?
Here are some questions -

Are you a facility PT like a CORF
Do you bill for only Medicare?
Do you bill for commercial insurances?
Do you do Workmans Comp
Do you bill for Auto accidents

Each of these have different billing requirements. e.g. Medicare requires a 'GP' modifier. There are guidelines on what modalities the carrier will pay for. This may be a bit hard to put it all in here. Have you considered taking a PT billing seminar?

I wanted to start of with physical therapy billing(work for physical therapist) and before that I wanted to know how insurance will pay and what are the rules to bill the claim to insurance. and what insurance follow which rules so that it would be easier for me, if you can help me  I really appreciate it.
