What do you all think of doing door to door marketing?  I'm in the process of putting together a packet that will have a calendar with my business information, brochure and newsletter and was curious about what you all thought about this?  For some reason I'm not having much luck with the direct mail and need some ideas or suggestions.

Marketing is tough and can be expensive.

Go into any doctors office and what do you see?  Pens, pencils, post it notes, t-shirts, book bags, beanie babies, rulers, calculators, cups, flashlights, and everything else under the sun.

If you were working in a doctors office and someone walked in and gave you a freebie, what would you do with it?

A calendar is good and useable.  Put some nice suggestions on each page.  "Verifying Benefits Before You Send A Claim Increases Revenue"  "Collecting At The Time of Service Decreases Non-Payment Statements"  "Talk To Your Patients About More Than Their Illness."  "Update Your Practice Financial Plan Today"  Check Your A/R Weekly"

Print a Certificate on the bottom of each page.  "Good For One Free Appeal This Month Only"  "Good For a Free Superbill Audit"  "Good for a Free A/R Review"

When thinking of anything, always put yourself in the shoes of the other person and ask your self, "What would I do if........"

Good luck to you.
