I am a certified Medical Biller from Germany. I would love to work in USA. Do I need to be USA certified or is my German Certificate okay.

Thank you
Muller

Hi,

You need not have a certification as such to become a medical biller.  You should get jobs in US if you have requisite experience in this field.  Yes, for Coding a certification is required, but even this is not compulsory for a job.

Hi,
I am a certified biller, living in Ca. but born and raised in Germany.
You can email me if you like, and we can exchange ideas.

Prem, you contradict yourself.  "Required" and "copulsory" mean the exact same thing.

Muller, you do not need any official training or certification to work as a biller or coder in the US.  However, if you choose to be a coder exclusively, you will have a hard time finding an employer willing to hire you.
