Taking small steps NOW to accustom yourself and your physicians to ICD-10 will mean that youll be ahead of the game before October 1, 2013 hits.

Is it wise to invest in ICD-10 now or wait as CMS keeps pushing date back...2012 (this was a no, ifs and or but's rule date), and then 2013, now possibly (maybe effective already) 2014...

I am new to field (CPC-A) and I have still a lot to learn for ICD-9, I often wonder "how much more will change when it is finally effective" maybe they add more codes than what is being said or decide to delete some to what is said...

Or is it more just a matter of TIME, knowing all will remain, just the time frame is the factor.  I will read up on ICD-10 as I havent' been following to closely.

Agreed. Its best to get ICD-10 solutions training as soon as you can before the implementation on October 1, 2014.
