Okay so I am about to pull my hair out. In 2013 when billing for allergy immunotherapy (95165) at 300 units to HealthChoice we had no issues. Then boom, all of a sudden 2014 hits and we cant get them to pay for one. We even call prior and get the benefits for the patient to make sure it is a covered service. It starts off they first ask for records and then deny as non standard of care. I appeal, stating that their test results have been sent showing that she did have positive results, and need the treatment blah, blah, blah.. ect.. Needless to say they are still denying. I'm not sure what happened between 2013 and 2014? I recently even tried billing one of them at 25 units a month for 12 months and I just the request for records so I think it is going to go the same direction. Has anyone else had this problem and actually gotten it resolved? Please Help!!!
