Dear All,

There are WC and Auto accident cases, wherein we are facing the following situations (in Illinois & Indiana):
1. WC has given a claim number and now is disputing the claim to be work related. What can be done in this case? Who shall we bill the claims now - to employer or patient?
2. In Auto cases, the patient hasn't agreed to the compensation and has litigated it. When we follow with the attorney, we just get that routine status "the case is still pending." What can be done in such cases to get the payment? Can we bill patients in such cases?
3. In WC case in IL jurisdiction we cannot file Lien with the patient's attorney and hence our payment is not secured. Can we get some help from IWCC (IL Worker's Comp Commission) to get our payment?

Can I get any guide which helps in litigated cases?

Dear friend Steve, can you send your views and help on this?

Thanks,

Bill B

do you have a letter of protection from the attorney?? if you don't than you can bill the patient, if you do then you have to wait until it settles.
also, for the work comp, do you have an agreement with the work comp company for payment.

My recomendation is to speak with an attorney.

This is not where forum advice is going to help,
