CLARIFICATION/REASSURANCE PLEASE
When I bill preventative codes these codes cover or include the pap smear, pelvic exam and breast exam w/ dx codes v72.4 and v72.10- correct?  or should I bill the "s" hcpcs for the breast exam as well?

If a medicare patient comes in before the 2 year time frame is up and wants a pap, pelvic and breast routine exam-  my doctor is requesting that I bill a 99213, 88150 and the S hcpcs that represent breast exam  Is that correct? Something about that does not feel right

When billing commercial carriers you would bill the preventative age appropriate cptt with ICD-v72.31.

Medicare is completely different when it comes to billing.
