CPT is 37765 which is if the procedure is 10-20 incisions...

My physician only did 1 incision

I tried to use 37799 it was denied

so I used 37765-52 for reduced services that was denied as well...

any tips?

Is this for varicose veins? Just FYI most consider those cosmetic and therefore will deny.

Yes it was.. since then I've sent documentation and they won't budge Insurances will pay for varicose vein procedures as long as patients conservative methods have failed (compression hose) and as long as it's medically necessary. . But this code isn't good enough and it's impossible it seems to get a response after sending documentation ?? Gotta love insurance.
