About to finish my externship with a billing company. They say I am doing a great job but cannot officially offer me a job until my extern is over. Should I start replying to other jobs in the newspaper just incase?

Ha Ha! I was there a few years ago.... The company I did my externship with also loved me but did not give me a job when I finished. Due to politics. But they did call me 8 weeks after I left and offered me the best job I could of imagines.

So I did some chiropractic billing durig the 8 weeks. So I would say to send your resume off to as many companies as you can. But if you get a job with the company you are doing your externship with, be very nice to the others. As there is nothing worse than burning your bridges....

Hope this helps

I would only apply for a few jobs every week in the paper. As long as your resume is well layed out and has everything you need for the jobs you are replying for, then you should have no problem finding work even with little or no experience.

You do not want to apply to every office in your city. As you may need to resort back to these companies later on in your work life. Start from a 10 mile radius from your home and work outwards.
