My husband and I live in Las vegas. We are on the west side of town. Not the most expensive area but one of the safest. 3 bedroom home for $250,000.

If you earn $45,000 a year as a single, you could have an enjoyable life here in Sin City! Rent a nice little one bedroom place for $800 a month.

I would say go for it. Move here to Vegas. It is the fastest growing city in the USA!

I would move to Vegas anyday. I don't know how people can live up in Buffalo during the winters.

But be prepared that the price of living is a lot more in Vegas than Up State NY.

At the same time $45K in Vegas is a great wage.

I agree with Stan. $45k per year is a good amount. Plus its a great place to live

Hello all,

I have just recently found this site. Great site just hope I am not to late in adding input to this topic.

$45K, Interesting. I have 4 years experience within the industry and still most, if not all career opportunities within the Las Vegas area are not paying more than $35K.

Example, check out the jobs section on this site. bet there are no jobs in Las Vegas paying $45K.
