Hi there; I'm hoping someone can offer advice.

My wife is currently a CCS coder working at a local facility. She is looking to switch to a part time position to spend more time with family. She has a few job offers on the table, one of them is to work from home as a per-chart payed coder for .75c per facility chart and $1.50 per facility + professional chart. At this pay she would need to code approx 200 charts per day to match her current wage. I would like to get some feedback from anyone doing per chart pay coding to see if this is a burnout type job. It seems like it would be a very burnout job based on to match 200 per day it would be approx 1 chart every 2 minutes. Anyone out there doing or have done per chart pay based coding and have advice to offer? She has never been payed per chart before and I just have a bad feeling about this job. Thanks!
