Contract Coding Advice

I am currently employed at a hospital as an outpatient coder, in October I will have one year total of coding experience. My husband and I plan on moving to Costa Rica within the next 5 months hopefully, and I unfortunately will need to leave my current position because they do not allow employs to work outside the U.S. I know that I will need to find a contract coding job but I was getting discouraged reading all the negative things about working for a contract company. As well as the 2+ years experience requirement on every job that I see. Does anyone have any advice on some companies that might possibly hire someone with less than 2 years experience? Also which companies are the "better" ones to work for, (PTO, dependable flow of work, etc).

Thanks in advance!
