I am a CPC-A in San Diego, CA. AAPC still doesn't have an externship available, so I don't know where to go or what to do.  I've taken coding, billing and medical terminology.  I've never worked in a medical field before and I'm also disabled.  I passed the test in December of 2006.  I'm beginning to get very discouraged.  Should I just keep chugging away or give up.

Never Give Up!  Never Surrender.

Each step you take in failure brings you closer to success.

You know the places that won't hire you so that makes the list that could hire you very short.
