Courses;Online w/credit vs online w/o credit

I am considering two online coding programs, both which look very good. One is a self paced online program through AHIMA, but with no college credit. The other, through a state college, which offers college credit and a certificate. They also offer the ability to continue on to an A.A.S. degree in HIT.

In the eventual pursuit of a coding job, how important to an employer is the "place of education" and it's accreditation? Would it be just as good in the end to go for the non-accredited $2k program or would the $7k state college be a better choice. The question is more on what an employer may value than which program is "better" for me.

I welcome any comments from experience and those in my position as well.
