I am a Medical Claims and Billing Specialist since 2005 after having been trained by a Career School and I would like to start my own medical billing business. I will like to begin my business but I am worried by the fact I could not find any client because they won't believe me able to do the work. There are so much schools, programs and courses about the medical billing career now and it is difficult to know which one is credible to healthcare providers.
Do you think that a certificate for example through an entity as AMBA( American Medical Billing association) worth at that point? does anyone have already experience dealing with this kind of certificate and which effect it could have on physicians? Which are other credibles entities which delivers this kind of certification?

Hello Marina,

We would recommend you contact other associations prior to making a decision as most people are seeking a different outcome to the next. Ask as many questions as possible to each association before selecting one.
