Hi Peter,

I went to (National School of Technology - Miami). Did the (Medical Coding Specialist - Diploma).

They of course have financial aid. At the time I had a very poor credit score, though was still able to get the financial aid. Lucky!

They are accredited by the (Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).)

I did get a job after my course was over. BUT only because I called up every billing company in FL.

Let me know what you decide and how it goes.

I do not know of a school directly in Florida, but the CRN Institute offers telecourses that you can take from anywhere. Check it out at www.crn-institute or call Laureen at 609-965-9585

Do not attend FastTrain!!!  They are a rip-off.  The teachers have no experience in the field.  I took a biling/coding course from them and was only taught coding; basically read the book (which I could've done at home)!  The billing part consisted of 2 chapters at the most the last week of class.  Cost $9000.  I'm still having nightmares.  Always research, research before comitting to any educational institution.  Also, FastTrain does not offer externship.
