We have come a long way if we talk about the methods of surgery. We have also derived new and innovative devices and ideas for the restoration for various organs and diseases that affect our anatomy. One such new advancement that we can be proud of is the restor implantation lens or the acry sof restor IOL as it is technically known. The restor is a multifocal intraocular lens. It is an option for the treatment of both cataracts and presbyopia patients. It is designed to provide patients multifunctional vision if they have a strong desire for greater independence from glasses or contacts. This lens design creates multiple focal points so patients can see well at a variety of distances, be it near, mid-distance, or far.

Is this a covered service under a patient's health insurance?

Will Medicare and Medicaid pay for this?

Does this require pre-certification or authorization?

What are the CPT codes to bill and what ICD-9 codes show medically necessary?

What are the charges and if an insurance company pays, how much do they pay?

Rather than trying to sell your services, try posting something useful we can use if a patient elects to use your services.
