The ICD-10-CM 2018 Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting were released August 9, 2017 by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). As a result of the late release, the 2018 Guidelines are not included in the first printing of ICD-10-CM 2018 by any publisher.
PMIC is including a printed copy of the Guidelines with each ICD-10-CM book (first printing) scheduled to ship in early September. Subsequent printings will include the revised Guidelines.
