Quick Update: Add-on Code Logic Revised by CMS
On April 1, 2019, the add-on code logic is being revised by CMS. The add-on code will be allowed if a primary procedure was performed on the same day or on the previous day.
Currently, the logic requires the primary procedure be performed on the same day. The edits will be revised retroactively to 04-01-2018.
