Speaker Leigh Poland, RHIA, CCS, CDIP, CIC, is VP of Coding Services at AGS Health. Leigh has over 25 years of coding experience and has worked in the coding and education realm over the last 25 years. Academically, Leigh has graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science. Leigh has had the opportunity to present many times in the past at the AHIMA, ACDIS, and AAPC National Conventions. She has been a guest speaker on AHIMA webinars and has written several articles that were published in the AHIMA Journal. Leigh has traveled the U.S. and internationally, providing coding education.
Jegannathan Arumugam, CPC, is General Manager of Coding Operations at AGS Health. Jegan is a highly experienced healthcare operations leader who oversees some of AGS Health's largest professional coding engagements. With deep knowledge and 17 years of diverse experience in medical coding and revenue cycle management (RCM), including 14 years with AGS Health, he has played a critical role in driving operational excellence and building strong client partnerships. A Certified Professional Coder (CPC)® and a subject matter expert in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) with specialized expertise in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding, Jegan combines technical mastery with proven leadership in managing large-scale, complex projects. He is recognized for his ability to lead high-performing teams, ensure coding accuracy, and deliver measurable results that meet client expectations.
