Part ll: Tales of a Coder

Mary Pat: Part I of this story introduced my friend Bob, who wants to be a coder and is letting me tag along as he explores coding education and starts the journey to become trained and employed in coding. While Bob has been researching online coding programs, he has also been delving into Medical Terminology, and Anatomy and Physiology in some unique ways. He purchased a used CPT, ICD-9, and medical dictionary as well as two related "Dummies" books. He has been creating his own flashcards from 3 x 5 note cards. He has been working on a self-directed study program of the books and has been using his Android phone and its voice recognition software to speak medical words and look up definitions on Wikipedia.
