As I reported in the last installment, my first box of materials arrived from Allied Schools and I began my lessons in Medical Terminology. I have moved through the first three sections of five total, but have not made nearly the progress that I had hoped I would. The biggest problem has been finding the time and making myself sit in the chair to study.
In the meantime, another box arrived from Allied with the materials I would need to begin the actual coding instruction. Part of the payment plan that I was very enthusiastic about when I made my school selection involved receiving the rest of the material (the books that I needed to study coding) after I had paid them a total of $500. So when I did reach the $500 payment level they shipped the coding materials. I was delighted to get them but put off opening the box for a couple of weeks since I have been working on Medical Term...
