Mother and daughter started their medical billing and consulting service, Solutions Medical Billing Inc., in 1994 and have been helping others start and grow their own businesses since then.
Alice and Michele have authored 15 books on various medical billing topics which are available on Amazon or in digital format. In addition they have developed a comprehensive online medical billing course. In training their employees they discovered the need for a comprehensive medical billing training course that covered the needs of a medical billing office. Their course bridges the gap between the classroom and actual hands on experience.
They offer a free monthly newsletter with articles on timely topics to help keep medical billers current with what is happening in this ever changing field. They also maintain a very active free medical billing forum where anyone can post or answer questions. There is a wealth of information in the existing posts.
Alice and Michele still go to work every day to work with their providers and keep up with all the day to day changes in the field of medical billing. They get many calls from other medical billers with questions which led them to start offering books on medical billing. They truly understand the needs of people who work in offices submitting and tracking insurance claims and those who have their own medical billing business.
