Mary Pat Whaley, FACMPE is Board Certified in Healthcare Management and a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. She has worked in healthcare and healthcare management for 25 years. She is the Practice Administrator for Halifax Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina where she manages primary care and occupational medicine clinics as well as a hospitalist group and the physician billing office and the author of The Smart Manager's Guide to Collecting at Checkout.
