Modifiers Make the Difference When Reporting Distinct Services During the Global Period

If you're providing evaluation and management (E/M) services during the global period of another procedure or service, you may think that all such work is included in reimbursement for the initial procedure. But that's not always the case, and there are specific methods for reporting separate services during the global period.
