When you think about your "typical" day, what are the first things that come to mind? E-mails? Meetings? Phone calls? Reports? Performance Reviews?
When a physician thinks about a "typical" day, a lot of those thoughts are aimed at patients, better outcomes, new medicines, how many patients are on the schedule, how that patient is doing from yesterday, and so many other thoughts. Our physicians are seeing a lot of patients in the day and with so many regulations, rules, advances in medicine, test options, and the like, should we really wonder why they don't want to sit around the table with us and talk about their documentation?
